Hostwebo Information Security Policy
The Information Security Policy (“IS Policy”) is dedicated to the information managed by Hostwebo operations, UAB (“Hostwebo”).
Focus of the IS Policy:
The IS Policy ensures the accessibility, authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality of information in line with applicable legislation and ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standards within Hostwebo’s operations.
Implementation of the IS Policy:
The IS Policy is implemented through risk assessment of threats and vulnerabilities affecting information security, aiming to improve the information security management system to reduce risks to an acceptable level.
Goals of the IS Policy:
- Protect confidential information and personal data from unauthorized disclosure or use.
- Ensure timely access to authorized personnel for information processing.
- Maintain the relevance and integrity of information, including identifying its source and processors.
- Prevent illegal changes, destruction, or loss of information.
- Prohibit unauthorized access to information.
- Regularly train and instruct internal users on information security issues.
The IS Policy is integrated with cybersecurity and business continuity policies, following principles such as complexity, procedural approach, function separation, resistance to social engineering, avoidance of security fatigue, need-to-know, proportionality, balance, and efficiency.
