Creating and configuring email accounts in Plesk is straightforward. Follow these steps to set up an email account for your domain.
Step 1: Log in to Plesk #
- Open your web browser and go to the Plesk login page.
- Enter your credentials and click Log in.

Step 2: Navigate to the Mail Section #
- In the Plesk dashboard, locate and click on Mail in the left-hand menu.
- Ensure that you have selected the correct domain if multiple domains are hosted.
Step 3: Add a New Email Account #
- Click on Create Email Address.
- Fill out the form:
- Email Address: Enter the desired name (e.g.,
info@yourdomain.com
). - Password: Choose a strong password or click Generate for an auto-generated one.
- Mailbox Size: Set a limit or leave it unlimited.

Step 4: Access and Configure Your Email #
- After creating the email, click Webmail next to the account to access it.
- Alternatively, configure the email on an external client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird) or a mobile device.
- Use the following settings for most email clients:
- Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
- IMAP/POP3 Port: 993 for IMAP or 995 for POP3 (SSL enabled).
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL enabled).
- Username: Full email address (e.g.,
info@yourdomain.com
). - Password: The password you created.

Step 5: Test Your Email Account #
- Send a test email to and from your new account.
- Verify that the email is received and that replies work as expected.

Tips #
- Use a strong password for better security.
- Set up spam filters and auto-responders in the Mail section for enhanced functionality.
- If your domain’s DNS records are not correctly configured, emails may not work. Ensure your MX records point to your Plesk server.
